History of The Kyle House
|
The Kyle House was established in 1898 by George Samuel Parker, of Parker Lumber Co. This beautiful Victorian home is named after
Dr. Edwin J. Kyle. Dr. Kyle was Dean of the Texas A&M Agricultural Department from 1911-1944, and later served as the US Ambassador
to Guatemala. Dean Kyle, whose name graces the home field of the Fightin' Texas Aggie Football team, and his wife Alice, resided here
from 1948 until his death in 1963.

The following prices are for non-special occasion events. Rental of The Kyle House is based on number of guests and type of event. Events begin at $200 and go up to $500. The Kyle House staff would be happy to cater your function and have menus that can be tailored to your needs.
